You were so special, Nancy. You were a loyal friend, had thoughtful insights, and had a mischievous streak that led to many good times. We loved you and miss you.

Hope you are riding your unicycle, climbing trees, cuddling with cats, making fudge, planting flowers, making jewelry, and rocking out to heavy metal in Heaven, Nancy. We miss you.

I ran Cross Country with Nancy for 3 years in high school. We weren't close, but she exuded a calmness, confidence, playfulness and warmth with a quick smile that I remember to this day. She was a terrific girl and it sounds like she grew up to be an accomplished, well-rounded human. I know all who loved her must miss her.

Nancy lives on in my memories. I can almost see the mischievous look on her face as she proposed some scheme or adventure, her expression of authentic concern as she listened to my troubles, and her head-nodding, hand-tapping exuberant joy listening to rock favorites and riding in the car with Kevin. We won't forget you, Nancy. XXOX

Nancy was truly one of the best human beings I have ever known, a lifelong friend starting in junior high/middle school. She was a beautiful person, both inside and outside. I remember her as smart, extremely fun-loving, spunky, musical, and athletic (she loved skiing and snowboarding, later in life). We both played the cello together. We went to separate high schools and colleges, but always stayed in touch. Nancy was a dear friend I never was willing to part ways with. When I was delivering my baby she came to the hospital despite her busy practice and gave me much needed pep talks. I am so grateful that Nancy met and married Kevin Furhman, who was a most caring and devoted husband during her long illness and saw her to the end with grace and dignity. Nancy, your warm, sparkly, fun personality and spirit will be with me always. Love, Donnie

I know this is a late entry, however, I worked with Nancy at Spring Grove Family Care Center and then when she opened her own practice, but left prior to it opening. She was amazing. She would take so much time with each patient and it didn't matter what her schedule looked like, she took the same amount of time with each person. Aside from work, she was kind. There is no other word that I can think of that perfectly sums her up. Nancy and I shared many good times together and even though we didn't talk for many years, I always thought of her. Nancy, you were truly a gift to everyone you met.

Nancy was my best friend from age 5 to her passing this year. We met in kindergarten and became fast friends, inventing games, writing song lyrics, climbing trees, and surviving middle school heartaches. She was my maid of honor and was by my side when my first child was born. She was intelligent, caring, loyal, adventure-loving and a great listener. . She was dedicated to her patients and loved serving them as their family doctor. What a blessing that she met and married the incredible Kevin Fuhrman. His love for her and devotion through the most terrible times is an inspiration and I am grateful for the joy and comfort he gave Nancy these last few years. Thank you, Kevin. Rest in peace my dear Nancy. I hope to see you on the other side someday.

Dr. Nancy literally saved a friend of mine's life as she often moonlit as a ring side physician at pro wrestling shows. She sometimes showed up without even being asked because she knew the wrestlers might need medical attention.... What a lady. Rest well Nancy...

Kevin you were her knight in shining armor and your love was so great that you both were a blessing to all who were in your presence. Thank you for sharing Nancy with us at Country Meadows.

We were blessed to have Nancy Faulkner as our family doctor. She was never too busy to talk and answer questions. She was also my parents doctor and when my mother was bedridden with cancer, Dr faulkner came to the house to check her and sit and talk with her. She even came to my mother's funeral. We were very saddened when she left her practice in Spring Grove. Our deepest sympathy to the family.

Kevin,
Nancy was such a kind soul, and I was privileged to have had the opportunity to know her. I still remember my first office visit with her. Nancy broke the ice, so to speak, with her telling me that she was older than me ... by one month that was. I trusted Nancy as my primary care physician, and was so sad to have to lose that relationship with her. My heart goes out to you, and to Nancy’s family. She will greatly missed, but always fondly remembered.

My thoughts and prayers are with family and friends. She was my Doctor in Spring Grove and I can concur that she did spend extra time to talk with me. I felt heard and cared about. Always with a smile and bubbly personality. She will be missed.
