Nancy A. (Stevens) Mummert, 79, passed away on November 16, 2016 at York Hospital. She was the loving wife of Moses P. Mummert, who passed away in 2008.
Nancy was born in York on August 16, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Frederick A. and Doris L. (Colehouse) Stevens. She was a homemaker most of her life and a longtime member of Hanover First Church of God. She enjoyed puzzles and making jewelry and loved to go shopping.
She is survived by her daughters, Yvonne M. Mummert of Dover and Pamela A Leiphart of York; her granddaughter, Tracy Green; and her great-grandchildren, Destiny, Jakey, Hannah, Stephanie and Bailey. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Michele Howard.
A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., 175 N Main St., Spring Grove with Rev. Gerald Shoap officiating. She will be laid to rest following the service next to her husband at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Spring Grove. A viewing will be held on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

You and Mose were gone to soon.
This time of the year reminds me of the holiday items you would put out, and on the front lawn. Also the deals you got at the yard sales!
You were a fantastic cook, and the kids still talk about the "little" spread you would put out.
We will miss you.

Mom, I love you so much. I will always remember the good and funny and times we had when we went shopping. It sure was a adventure sometimes but I would never change a thing. We always had a good in the end. You will always be in my heart and mind forever. You Dad and Michele will take care of each other now. I love you all. Your loving Daughter Pam

Nancy, we had such great times together. Time was not fair. It took Mose away from you too soon. Often I think about other trips we could have taken together. You were a riot and a hell of a good cook. A great homemaker and mother. RIP

When we would go on trips with Moses and Nancy, she would be the banker. We'd give her money at the start and she would pay all the bills. No arguing over the check.
We shared many good times at the cabin , trips and lawn cookouts.
