Patti Ensminger Obituary
York
Patti Sue Ensminger, 54, entered into Heaven on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the York Hospital, after a courageous battle with illness. She was the companion of Lee Gipson, they shared over 40 years together.
Born on August 3, 1961 in York, she was the daughter of Ida Jane Ensminger and the late Roy L. Ensminger.
Patti graduated from Northeastern Sr. High School and was a fork lift operator for Graham Packaging Co.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Aleta J. Gipson of York; mother, Ida Jane Ensminger of Mt. Wolf; companion, Lee Gipson of York; brother, Roy "Doug" Ensminger and wife, Joan of York; sister, Beth Ensminger of Mt. Wolf; nieces, Rebekah Robinson, Rachel Hammers, both of Dallastown; step-children, Shane Gipson, Cory Gipson, Sara Gipson; grandchildren, Jalayna, Baylee, Mackenzie, Shelby, and Zaxary, all of New Mexico.
A visitation will be on Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home,Inc., 822 E. Market St., York. The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Edwina Landrey, of Christ Lutheran Church, Manchester, officiating. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge.

Sending lots of love & prayers from New Mexico Patti had been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Thank you for all the good times Patti, I will miss you like crazy! My 1st born shared Patti ' s birthday and from a very young age Jalayna was so proud that her and Grandma Patti had the same birthday. My 4 girls loved Patti unconditionally, I can't thank her enough for going above and beyond for them all. Visiting home just will not be the same now, till we meet again Patti I love you very very much!!
