Paul E. Novotny

Paul E. Novotny, 76, of Springettsbury Township, died at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 11, 2003 at his residence. He was the husband of Connie L. (Senft) Novotny and the late Eleanor (Nicholas) Novotny. Born January 23, 1927 in York, a son of the late Otto and Metie (Lindenmuth) Novotny, he was a graduate of York High School. He currently was a sales engineer for Gosiger, Philadelphia. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. In addition to his wife, Mr. Novotny is survived by a son, Steve E. Novotny of Spring City, Chester County; two daughters, Jane L. Miller of York and Sue E. Boone of Red Lion; three step sons, Derek Sackett of Mechanicsburg, Mark Sackett of York and Chad Sackett of Spring Grove; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a sister, Nora Craver of York. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Baumeister, Orcutt & Small Mortuaries, Inc., South Queen at Jackson Street, with Rev. Matthew H. Stillman, Pastor of Saint Paul's Wolf's Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
