I know it's been many years since Steve passed but I have been thinking of him lately. Steve was my mentor, friend, and guide through my career youth and, along with my dad David Ayers, is the reason why I am where I am today. Steve was tough but kind, direct but constructive, and represented the kind of person I wanted to be. Outside of the fact that he had a heart attack within months of me joining the team and just said, "you got this", his neverending belief in me, even though I couldn't understand that at my age, drove me to become the husband, father, and leader I have become. Miss you terribly, along with our morning breakfast reviews, and just want to say thank you (for the life lessons and my appreciation of Dewers). Love you always and hope we meet in our next life.

Steve was the foundation of our Field Service Representative training program. He handled difficult scheduling duties and was the one we could count on when things were going crazy. He was a steady influence on us in the group. We will miss him.

I have known Steve since he joined AAI in 1980. He and I worked on AAI's Pioneer program. I always found him to be a reserved, sincere individual - very pleasant to work with. We shall miss him. You have my most sincere condolences at your loss.

Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with Linda and all of the family. Linda, Adrienne and Jenny have become a big part of my family through my children at Children of Christ over the last 6 years. We know that Steve is now being comforted by God and looking down on all of us and watching over his family from above. God Bless.

I worked with Steve over the last several years with regard to training. Juggling those training schedules to meet everyone's needs was kind of like solving Rubik's cube, but Steve always managed to do it and with good grace. Always enjoyed talking to Steve about camping. I'll certainly miss him. May his soul rest in peace.
