Stewart Rosier Obituary

DOVER Stewart ''Red'' N. Rosier, 82, died at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2007, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. He was the husband of Irene L. (Myers) Rosier. Mr. and Mrs. Rosier were married 58 years. Born November 17, 1924, in York, he was the son of the late Stewart N. and Carrie (Frank) Rosier, Sr. Mr. Rosier was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and served in both the Pacific and European Theatres as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a retired employee of the former Teledyne McKay Company. In addition to his wife, Irene, Red is survived by two sons, Randy N. Rosier, MD, PhD, and his partner, Michael Robertson of Rochester, N.Y., and Ricky S. Rosier and his wife, Joella of Dover; three grandchildren, Ivy, Emily, and Nicholas and his wife, Jamie Rosier; and two great-grandchildren, Abbott and Emory Rosier. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Mount Rose Cemetery, 1502 Mount Rose Ave., York, with the Rev. Richard B. Starr officiating.
