Timothy Erik Love

Timothy Erik Love, 44, died Sunday morning, August 10, 2003 at Christiana Hospital in the presence of his beloved fam ily. Born in York County, to Donald and Barbara Love of Dallastown, he graduated from Dallastown Area High School in 1976. In 1980 he received Bachelor of Science Degrees in Economics and Engineering from Bucknell University, graduating Summa Cum Laude as a Phi Beta Kappa. He received a Masters in Business Administration with high distinction from Harvard University in 1987. Love was a Senior Executive Vice President at MBNA America and was a member of the Senior Operating Committee since 1998. He was an active member of Brandywine Valley Baptist Church, working with youth fellowship and ministry and served on the Board of Governors of Opportunity International, an organization dedicated to fostering business entrepreneurship in developing countries. He is survived by his wife, Victoria and children Benjamin, 20, Elizabeth, 19, Jennifer, 16 and Kathleen 15. He is also survived by his parents and paternal grandmother, Myrtle Love of Red Lion; sister, Rebecca of Windsor Township; and brothers, Christopher of Pasadena, Calif., and Andrew of Washington, DC. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Brandywine Valley Baptist Church, 7 Mt. Lebanon Rd., Wilmington, Del. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at First Baptist Church of New Castle, 901 E. Basin Rd, New Castle, Del. A reception will follow at 1 p.m. at Brandywine Valley Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Brandywine Valley Baptist Church Youth Building Program, 7 Mt.
