William Wright Obituary

William K. Wright PYLESVILLE, MD William Keener Wright, 78, died at 4:42 p.m. on Wednes day, January 18, 2006, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Isabelle (Veach) Wright. Bill and Isabelle celebrated 57 years of marriage on February 14, 2005. Viewings will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, and from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, at Centre Presbyterian Church, New Park. The funeral service will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, with the Rev. James L. Biller officiating. Burial will be in Centre Presbyterian Cemetery. Born January 29, 1927, in Pylesville, Md., Mr. Wright was the son of the late William N. and M. Selma (Keener) Wright. Mr. Wright was a member of Centre Presbyterian Church, having served on the Board of Deacons. He also served on the Board of Directors of Citizen's Volunteer Fire Co. and supported the Norrisville Volunteer Fire Co. He was a member of the Harford County Farm Bureau. Bill was a 1943 graduate of Jarrettsville High School, a lifelong farmer, and an avid story teller, who enjoyed reminiscing with family and friends. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Debbie Trout and her husband, Jack of Pylesville, Md. and Bobbie Lowe and her husband, Ben of Fawn Grove; four grandchildren, Bill Kurtz, Andi Kurtz, Jackie Trout, and Johnny Trout and his wife, Deanna; one greatgrandson, Jack Trout; several nieces and nephews; and one brother, John J. Wright and his wife, Laura of Highlands Ranch, Colo. He was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Catherine Wright Spiro and her husband, Jim. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Citizen's Volunteer Fire Co., c/o Donald Miller, P.O. Box 6, Fawn Grove, PA 17321; or to Norrisville Volunteer Fire Co., c/o Treasurer, 2134 Harkins Road, Pylesville, MD 21132.
