George was a very kind, funny and caring person. I met him when I worked in the office at the York Fair and he was a director. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. He quickly became a very special friend. I also had his wife as a teacher in high school. She was a very wonderful person also and great teacher. It was my honor to know both of them !
I will miss George very much !!

George was a dear friend and will be greatly missed. We always enjoyed visiting with him and looked forward to his phone calls.

Seeing George’s smiling face brought back memories of our time at Grandview Park. He was the first neighbor I met, and he always had a kind word to share. Condolences to his family on the loss of such a gentle soul.
