Sharon Ruff Obituary
Punta Gorda, FL - Sharon I. "Momma Ruff" Ruff, 72, entered into rest Thursday August 23, 2018 at York Hospital. She was the wife of James W. Ruff for 54 years.
A viewing celebration of life will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. 2114 West Market St.
Sharon was born November 21, 1945 in Kingwood, WV, the daughter of the late Melvin and Kathleen (DeWitt) McCabe. She had been employed as shipper/ receiver. Sharon was a life member of the VFW auxiliary Post 8951.
In addition to her husband James, she is survived by her children; Gregory A. Ruff and his wife Kimberly, Christopher L. Ruff and his wife Melinda, Melissa Myers and her husband Eugene; grandchildren Nicole Ruff and her fiance Andrew Weiser, Jacob Ruff, Katlyn Ruff, Emily Ruff, Samantha Copenheaver and her husband Isaiah, Andrew Myers; 4 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother William H. McCabe.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, American Heart Assn., or the Salvation Army.
