DANIEL CAMERON BYRD

LAUREL HILL — Daniel Cameron "Danny" Byrd, 70, of Laurel Hill, passed away, Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Hospice Haven.

He was born in Hamlet, August 11, 1951, son of Michael Vaughn Byrd, II and Bernice Nye Byrd.

Danny was an engineer with CSX for 34 years. After his retirement he enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler, fishing, hunting, and gardening; He was an avid outdoorsman. He also enjoyed gathering with his friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Harrington Funeral Home from 1:00-2:00 pm.

A Memorial Service will begin in the Chapel at 2:00 pm with Pastor Bill Monroe officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Jackson Byrd of the home; brother-in-law, William Billingsley of Laurel Hill; sister-in-law, Velma J. Aaron- Rockingham; Nephews, Derrick Billingsley of Hamlet and Matthew Billingsley of Rockingham; Best friends, Roger Stewart, Dale Spencer, Jim Young, Armond Waters, Randy Walker, Tony Weatherford and James Aaron.

Harrington Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the Byrd Family.
