We all knew and loved her as Julia Robinson who had a beautiful smile to share with everybody. Julia graduated from Lynchburg Business College in Lynchburg, Virginia. Out of college, she took a job in Mt. Gilead, when one day she had a flat tire on side of the rode and along came C.D. Robinson. He fixed the tire and asked her on a date. One thing led to another and they were married in 1958. They moved to Laurinburg where they raised a family and became charter members and active workers at Trinity Presbyterian Church. During this time, they opened Robinson Hardwood Cooperation until 1984 when she and her husband retired.
