LINDA GRIFFIN Obituary

LINDA GRIFFIN Linda Ann Griffin, 76, of De Queen, Arkansas, entered into God's kingdom on August 24, 2023 after a short battle with cancer. She was born on October 1, 1946 to Willow Dene and Melvin David (Dan) McGough. She graduated from Stephenville High School in 1965 and married her soulmate, Roy Ed, on August 3, 1968. Linda spent the majority of her life as a devoted wife and mother. Together, Roy and Linda, owned and operated Griffin Trucking until Roy's death in 2014. Over the years, she also worked as a secretary at FMC and Central Elementary. Linda adored her family and enjoyed time with each of her grandchildren as they grew. She was always willing and ready to make her famous banana pudding, chocolate sheet cake, or Italian Cream cake for any occasion. Linda loved playing dominos, dining out, going shopping, or just sitting and visiting with her family and close friends. Linda is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, and her beloved son Nathion Griffin. She is survived by her brother Danny and wife Joyce McGough of Hatfield, AR, one son, Paul and wife Neida of De Queen, AR, daughter in love, Julie and husband Carl Worthington of Stephenville, TX, grandchildren, Zane and wife Emily, Dalton and wife Cassie, Quade and wife Macy, and Jaydi Griffin all of Stephenville, TX, as well as, Logan and wife Gail of Victoria, TX, Bryton, and Katelyn Griffin of De Queen, AR, 5 precious great grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews. Linda will be laid to rest during a private service, per her wishes, at Smith Springs Cemetery in Stephenville. In lieu of flowers the family ask that any donations be made to Cowboy Church of Erath County in Stephenville, Kern Heights Baptist Church in De Queen, or St. Jude's Research Hospital.
