The graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday March 7, 2014 at Sunset Vista Funeral Home, 11357 E 40th Street. The Legion Ceremonial Team will be officiating. Reception will be held at 4:00 p.m. at The American Legion, 2575 Virginia Drive.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The American Legion or The DAV.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Goodbye my good friend
Our time goes back to 1965 when we were both teachers at Gray JR High School in Tacoma. You lived on Mc Arthur Street and you and Betts ,Helen and I often went from there for a night out.
Our conversations were often political and since our philosophies were much the same, never a cross word was spoken between us as we settled the world problems, often behind a cloud of pipe smoke.
From Tacoma , you went to Yuma and we met you there nearly every year for 28 years and always enjoyed the company of you and Betts, Dianna and Gene.
The years passed quickly and and we spent our last visit together at the DAV and Legion a few days before you left us.
We lays had a great time and I'll miss our visits very much.
Helen and I wish to extend our sympathy to the family and friends you left behind.
