The message of your mom's memorial book popped up, it's hard to believe it's been 7years. I think of her frequently, I miss chatting with her and her motherly advice. I wanted her family to know she is missed from those of us whose heart she touched.. Hoping peace find you during this time of year. Much love and Health to all of you.

It was just last week that Joann came into my mind as I looked across the pond into Joanns backyard while driving down Delaware Ave. I think of her big smile and warm heart often. She is a friend often missed! All my best to her family!

I met your mom when she worked at WERC and kept in touch during her time at HVCC. Although it has been too long since we last got together I always valued the nights we met for dinner and conversation. She was so proud of her family, always having a story to tell about what Frank, Paul or Megan was up to. I am so sorry that she won't live out the Arizona dream but do know she will live on in each one of us. I learned a lot from her about compassion, patience and love and feel blessed to have called her a friend!

I knew your Mom through my work at HVCC however, we remained friends after our positions changed. I did not have the pleasure of meeting your dad. I am deeply saddened by this tremendous loss. Joann was such a bright light and always knew how to lift one's spirit. She was one of the kindest and most compassionate women I have known. I will miss our vibrant lunchtime talks and quick chats via email. My thoughts and prayers remain with your family and circle of friends. May they rest in peace.

Hello, my condolences to you both. I saw the OBITS today and then searched the article in the newspaper. Both of your parents were wonderful people, the world loss two great spirits. But know that you and your brother can emulate them in your futures and generations to come. Again, so sorry for your loss.

Aunt Joann you will sadly missed .

To Megan, Paul, Aunt Mary, Uncle Angelo, Lenny, Joseph, Angelo, Jerry and Donna. As you know I loved your daughter and your sister. We talked every week since my Mom got so sick in May. She was such a positive force as I struggled with the decline of my Mom. She worried so much about her parents and wanted so badly to improve their quality of life. She wanted to live closer, you were best friends and she loved her family more than words can describe. She was looking forward to retirement, to enjoying time with her children and her husband. Obviously God had another plan, there must be a reason for this premature loss of life, I am not sure what it is but I know Joann was passionate about life, her family and her home. She was famous for giving, not receiving and wanted so much to grow old with her children. I miss our talks, our discussions about life, parents and and her positive thoughts. I hope you are at peace with Frank and have said Hi to my parents who will welcome you as you wait for the rest of us. Love you Tons and miss you

You were such a bright light and always so positive about life that words can not express the sadness I am feeling. You were not just someone I worked with but you became a true friend and you will always be remembered and missed. I never had the pleasure of meeting your husband but my heart feels the heavy loss for him as well. May the two of you find peace and rest together through the love you had for each other, your family and all the friends you had near and far. Sending your children my thoughts and prayers, may their hearts be filled with their loving memories of you and your husband to help them find peace through this difficult time.

I had gotten to know Joann at work and greatly enjoyed her company and wonderful spirit. i'd only met Frank a few times, but immediately considered him a friend, and was pleased to find that we were also neighbors. Thank you for sharing them with us for a while; their impact will be lasting. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Paul, Megan and Family,
Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. Although I never met your Dad, I worked with and for your mother at Hudson Valley for several years. I enjoyed her friendship, and admired and learned from the enthusiasm and passion she displayed for her work assignments, as well as her compassion for the students she served. I will miss her greatly, and will pray that the Lord sustain you during this difficult time, and in the future.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise found in 1 Thessalonians 4 : 14 can bring you some comfort. Knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
