Larrisia Smock Obituary

Larrisia C. Smock (Osuna-Kreger) |8/27/1977-3/10/2010|

"Love will live on wherever a beautiful soul has been. Love's never lost Love never ends where a beautiful soul has been"

Larrisia attended school throughout the state of Arizona. From Yuma, to Ehrenberg and on to Prescott Valley, where she graduated from Bradshaw Mountain High School. She was a varsity cheerleader all four years of her attendance.

Lara was so courageous in her long term battle with kidney disease. "God saw you were tired, a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around your heart and whispered 'Come to Me'."

Lara was also a organ donor and was able to pass on her gift of sight. She has journeyed far and touched so many. She will always be the loving part of all of us!

Larrisia is survived by her loving husband, Jonathan of North Bend, Washington; two beautiful pets, Sea & Casey; mother, Andrea Lorraine Evers, sister Lyda Evers both of Yuma; father, Authur Kreger of Oregon; maternal grandparents, Joe and Stella Osuna; paternal grandmother, Carol Kreger; uncles, Joe (June) of Flagstaff, Arizona, Mike (Debbie) of Winslow, Arizona and Chris Osuna of Yuma. Dale, Loren, Dean and Aunt Beth Kreger all of Yuma, Nephew, Michael Bayless of Kent, Washington and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services will be performed by Lara's second cousin, Father Miguel Osuna at Desert Lawn Memorial Park on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 10:00a.m.

Please God forgive our tears and the constant wish that she was still here.

Lara and I were friends in grade school in Ehrenberg AZ. I had a nostalgic moment today and wanted to look up some of my old friends from back then and found this. Absolutely breaks my heart. Blessed for the time I knew her.

Oh my Lara, I do not know what I will do without my best friend. I already feel your absence like an enormous weight. Even though you spent a good deal of time stuggling with your health, your love of life and your never ending optimism makes this so hard to believe. Thank you for always loving me for who I am, always being there to laugh with me and cry with me. You always burned so bright and shared your beautiful light with those around you. I will miss you more than you will ever know, but am set free knowing that you will never be plauged with doctors, needles or procedures again. I love you my angel and take care, I will be seeing you again one day. ~Em

Lara,
I was so fortunate to be a part of your life as well as your families lives. You and your family were such a blessing to me during a time of my life when I so desperately needed a blessing. You opened your heart and home to me, but that's how you were; open, giving, and always thinking of others. I am so thankful we were able to reconnect and so very sorry it took us so long. I would never have made it through that time in my life without you and your family. A lifetime of appreciation. You are missed. I pray that you are at peace and that you know how deeply you touched my life and lives of those around you. I love and miss you. ~Alisha~

Lara - It takes such a special person to touch as many lives as you did. After all these years, I still think of each day. I love you, and there will always be a place in my heart that remembers you as our "Little Lara". With all my love. Nicole Tupkielewicz-Cowgill

I cheered with Larrisia in high school. I can remember a parade through prescott valley sitting in the back of trucks with all our fellow cheerleaders. Larrisia and I were always getting confused, because her nickname of "Lara" is my first name. She was always such a sweet and bubbly girl always hanging out with her best friend Deanna. Such a tiny girl to be so full of life and to have it cut short is a tragedy. I wish her family well, may God watch over you and give you strength
