Marx Krogman Obituary

Marx Leroy Krogman passed away in Gillette, Wyoming on Oct 15th 2016 at the age of 85. He passed peacefully with family by his side. He was born in Billings, Montana on June 25, 1931.

"Roy" is predeceased by his dear wife Audrey, his mother and father, Metta Lue and Marx, his brother Alva Ray (Laos - January 1967).

Roy is lovingly remembered by his son Tom and wife Phyllis, his son Jerry and wife Melody and his daughter Kelly Steindorf and husband Marty, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Roy served in the Navy 1951-1955 as an air traffic controller.. Roy and Audrey were married for 55+ years, they were avid golfers and Roy started up the "Krogman's Follies" years ago and kept the golfers organized with their game. Roy had been living in Yuma, AZ until moving recently to Gillette to live out his days near his son Tom and his wife Phyllis and his grandson Kris.

Roy and I had the loveliest conversation back in 2005 as I had his brother’s POW bracelet. He sent me all Ray’s information. When I heard that Ray has been found, I decided to look up Roy. I’m sorry to hear of his passing, even this many years later.
