Growing up I met Mike as a teenager, as I was friends with his kids, Michelle and Billy. He was the funniest, most patient, and incredibly kind man you´d ever meet. Probably the best girl dad ever. We´d get into trouble, and he´d shake his head and laugh, and let Bert deal with us. I´ll never forget making dove kabobs in the carport or him sitting in his recliner waiting for us as we´d come in the back door from some fun outing. He was the most loving dad.
My sincerest condolences go out to Bert, Billy and Michelle. The loss of such a man is profound. Mike may you rest in peace. I hope you´re enjoying a cold drink in heaven.
