Pamela Sonnenmoser Obituary

Pamela Kay Sonnenmoser, 46 of Rushville, MO died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the North Care Hospice House in Kansas City, MO.

A Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the Grace Evangelical Church, 5103 S. 50th (Hwy FF) St. Joseph, MO with Rev. Dennis Jennings officiating. The body has been cremated. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Grace Evangelical Church. Memorial contributions in memory of Pam may be given to the North Care Hospice and sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home who is handling the arrangements. Pam was born on August 6, 1967 in Creve Cour, MO, the daughter of Jack and Linda (Hefner) Gwinn. She graduated from Kofa High School, Yuma AZ in 1985. Pam was a Christian author and speaker. She had written and published several books and managed a self storage unit in St. Joseph, MO. Pam was an active member of Grace Evangelical Church, St. Joseph, MO, was one the founders of Grace & Girlfriends' Ministry and spoke at many women's conferences around the country. She also assisted with a feeding of the homeless ministry, and took several mission trips with SWAT during Christmas to Mexico.

She was married to John C. Sonnenmoser on October, 20, 1992. John survives of the home. Additional survivors include her mother, Linda and step-father, Edward Miknaitas of Yuma, AZ; brother, Robert (Kelli) Gwinn of Las Vegas, NV; and nephew, Rowan Gwinn of Las Vegas, NV.

To the family of Pamela, please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your loved one. May the God of all comfort be with you during this difficult time in your lives. We all yearn for better conditions. It's refreshing to know that God's word speaks of a time when all sorrows will be gone and that mankind will live in beautiful surroundings with nothing to fear.-Isaiah 65:17,21-24.

Pamela was such an inspiration to her many friends.She and I met years ago,when she cared for ladies in an independent supportive living apartment.I had to rescue her from one of the ladies constantly pulling Pamela's long,beautiful hair.She rescued me in turn,with her positive view of life.She is missed by numerous lives she has changed positively,throughout her life!
