Sandra Sue Brown, 75, of Yuma, Arizona passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016 peacefully at home.
She was born November 15, 1940 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Adrien B. and Mary Pauline Taylor. She was raised in Madison, Indiana and was a graduate of Madison High School. After graduation she took bookkeeping and accouting classes. She was united in marriage to Layne C. Brown on June 27, 1958. She then woked at Madison Bank and Trust for several years before being hired at Jefferson Proving Ground. In 1974, the couple transfered to YPG in Yuma, Arizona where she was Head of Finance. Sandra was involved with the Colorado River Tea Party and Rio Colorado Republican Women serving as Treasurer for some time. She loved politics, her grandchildren, reading and was very interested in ancestry research.
She is survived by her daugher, Shannon Hainline (Jeremy), and three granddaughters, Emily Sando-Brown, Juniper Hainline and Opal Hainline; two brothers, Joesph Taylor, Ron Taylor and one sister, Kathy Stark as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Layne who died on September 24, 2014 and her parents.
There will be a Celebration of Life at her home in the Foothills of Yuma, Arizona, Friday, May 27th from 5pm-9pm.

Sandy was a wonderful woman who kept our club in line and on track! She was one of the most reliable, energetic women I've met and could be relied on to handle nearly any task we dumped on her. May God Bless Sandy. I will miss her.

I am so sad lost a very dear friend Sandra Brown. Such a sweet lady and caring. She was my friend and luncheon buddy and I will miss her dearly. RIP my friend you will not be forgotten.
