My favorite memory of Yanis is when we would meet each other in the center of the dance floor at Bo Jangles and dance our cares away. It was in the 80's and Bo Jangles was the hottest night club in town with Orange County Circuit live entertainment. As years passed I did not see Yanis until the very end. He would come and visit my husband Rick and I at our home in Yuma or we would see him at Steve's' restaurant; Mi Fajitas or at Foothills Restaurant after Steve passed away. We had the pleasure of his company one last time at Maria's restaurant and Rick and I will miss him terribly. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Yania and I got to be "Best Friends" after the passing of our mutual friend Steve (Mi Fahita Restaurant) as we were together...comforting each other when learning of his passing. He actually drove me to Steve's home....as he thought we would be closer or "somehow" connect with Steve (???) and when we got to his driveway.....THEN he told me Steve was gone!
Since then Yannis visited me oin the hospital several times....always with a wonderful bag of Doughnuts for me! His kindness to me was everlasting....and I salute him as a Man of Integrity and Knowledge of Many Things in Life! May he rest in Peace Eternally.....and when the wind blows here in Yuma....I will lovingly think of him! I knew Yannis since 1986 and when he took ill at the Hospice.....we tried 2 times to visit....but Yannis apparently didnt want me to see his frail condition? Love You Pal......Go Be With God! Amen!

Yanni was a great neighbor to me and my children in the 80's. I would see him from time to time thru the years and he never forgot those times...So sad to see this but I know he had a great fun life..
