Bruce Kennedy Obituary

Bruce A. Kennedy Sr.

Zanesville: Bruce Allen Kennedy Sr., 62 of Zanesville went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at his home. He was born on September 16, 1955 in Cutler, Ohio. He is the son of the late Thurman Clarkson and Maryellen Louise Kennedy.

Bruce loved the outdoors, spending time with his family and friends and rooting for the Denver Broncos. He previously worked for Muskingum Tire and for Carr Stone and Patio.

Bruce is survived a sister Martha (Jimmy) Banks; his daughters April Martin, Chastity Kennedy (Tydell Butcher), Kimberly Kennedy (Lara Tyo); his grandchildren Derek Jamison II, Lakeyah, Taevyn, Tyvaeah Butcher, Dejah, Kobe and Rihana Martin, Krista Hamm and Tylor Vasquez; his nephews Greg (Tammy) Kennedy and Chad Kennedy; many other great nieces and nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, Bruce is preceded in death by his sisters Ileen and Evelyn Kennedy and a brother Dana Harris, a son Bruce Allen Kennedy II and his granddaughter Mycha Martin.

Visitations will be held from 10 to 11 am on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where a memorial service will be held at 11 am with Pastor Keith Wyatt officiating. Military Honors will be provided by George Selsam VFW Post #1058, the American Legion Post #29 and the US Army Color Guard.
