Christopher Griggs Obituary
NEW LEXINGTON, OHIO: Christopher M. Griggs, 38, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 3:30am on Friday, October 28, 2011 at Fairfield Medical Center Emergency Department, Lancaster, Ohio.
Born February 26, 1973 in Zanesville, Ohio, he is the son of Michael and Betty Clontz Griggs of New Lexington.
Chris loved playing guitar, martial arts and spending time with friends too numerous to name. Chris was beloved by all and will be sadly missed.
Survived by, wife, Amanda Shepard Griggs of the home,
daughter, Drea C. Griggs of the home, loving parents, Mike and Betty Griggs of New Lexington, grandmother, Shirley Griggs, aunts, uncles and many cousins.
He will also be missed by many, many friends.
Chris will be met in heaven by son, Tyler Griggs; brother, Derek Douglas Griggs; grandparents, L.P. and Lola Clontz; grandfather, Jerry Griggs and his aunt and uncle, Buddy and Verdie Clontz.
Calling hours will be held from 3pm-8pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the Roberts Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the funeral home with Reverend Joel Harbarger officiating.
Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery.

I am so sorry for your loss of Chris. I used to hang around with him when ya lived in KY. Chris was such a lovable guy who everyone loved. "Higgs an Griggs" was said somuch when we was at school.
