Joey "Young Dipper" Offinger

Zanesville - William Joseph "Joey" Offinger, 21, of Zanesville, entered the hospital on June 19, 2018 where he sustained injuries due to complications and passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 around 5:30 p.m. Joey was born May 9, 1997 to William "Todd" and Darcy (Gaton) Offinger. In addition to his parents, Joey is survived by, his loving sister, Hannah Offinger; his grandmothers, Debbie Gaton and Donna Jack; his beloved girlfriend, Shelby Delancey; aunt, Lynn Gaton; uncle, Larry Daniels; cousin, Alex Gaton; several cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Joey is preceded in death by his grandfathers, William Gaton and William P. Offinger; and a first cousin, John Michael Daniels.

Joey loved to be outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending any free time he had fishing. Joey loved motorcycles, four wheelers, monster trucks; anything with wheels and a motor, he could ride. He enjoyed rough truck competitions. Joey loved country music and would often attend concerts. One of his favorite hobbies, was picking on his older sister Hannah. He will be missed deeply. You may call on the family Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Cremation will follow. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
