Kevin Lee Nolan
ZANESVILLE: Kevin Lee Nolan, 55, of Zanesville, died at 12:12 a.m. Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Genesis-Good Samaritan Hospital.
He is survived by his fiancee, Ruth Durant; one daughter, Nicole Ann Dilley; his mother, Sallie (Nolan) Kirkbride; two brothers, Tim Nolan and Scott (Amy) Nolan; grandchildren, Dakota Lee Nolan-Dilley, Mackenzie Edith Nolan-Dilley; also surviving are Ruth's family, Lisa and Dave Curby and Cole Bryan; his Lima Ohio family, Becky Mitchell, Jan Thompson, Kim Huffer, and Jill Voglesang; also survived by 18 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl (Eversole) Nolan; his father, Fred Nolan; one brother, Rick Nolan; his father and mother-in-law, Charles and Dorothy Eversole; special friend, Austin Evans.
He loved driving truck and was most recently hauling containers for Miken Cartage. He was an avid O.S.U. fan and he also drove many miles in his semi to attend O.S.U. football games, Cincinnati Bengal games, and wrestling events. His number one love was family, number two was sports, and number three was the Carnival life. He loved his daughter, his grandkids, nieces and nephews.
Please come celebrate his life as he finishes his journey to the ultimate midway in Heaven. Calling hours will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011 and from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 5765 Gladstone Dr., White Cottage. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will take place Friday, March 11, 2011 in Lima, Ohio.

Our deepest sympathy to Kevin's family. He was a great person and always made a point to stop and say hello. The midways were not the same when the Nolan rides were no longer there and Kevin working on a broke down ride. He will be missed by all of the Burbach family. We love you Kevin. Rest in peace.

We only knew Kevin for a short time working with him at Fort Dearborn. He had a solid work ethic and a personality that reflected well upon himself and those around him. Our condolences to his family. He is missed.

I remember Kevin for his smile and sweetness as he was around Nolan Amusement Park and the skating rink, bingo and fairs and rides.
Just a great person to have the honor to meet.

Nicole,Dakota,Kenzie,Sallie,Scott,Tim, Ruth and family. Our heart breaks for all of you as we all say goodbye to a man that has helped and given to so many and allowed us all into his life and family. Keith Noble called to let me know about Kevin’s passing.
If I am not mistaken, my brother Tim and Kevin would have been about the same age.
It is hard to comprehend or understand how this kind of thing can happen at such an early age. I guess the only way we could even begin to figure it out is when we can ask about it in heaven---but I suppose once there, it will not matter.
I pray that each of your hearts will be comforted by the presence of Jesus and trusting that God (the FATHER) knows best. We can trust His decisions.
Sorry I can not be with you at this time. I just got home Sunday night from a trip north to take care of business for my mother.
