Madeline Darr Obituary
Zanesville - Madeline M. Darr, 83, of Zanesville, died at 6:05 A.M. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Beckett House, New Concord. She was born March 29, 1938, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Orville and Vergen (Wolfe) Rushing. She was a home health aide and a member of Church of God at God's Acres.
She is survived by a daughter, Debbie (Brad) St. Clair; five sons, David (Wanda) Darr, Daniel (Sherry) Darr, Rev. Dale (Annette) Darr, D. Douglas (Kathy) Darr, and Dana (Sharon) Darr; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Dennis Dearth.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Faye (Dennis) Dearth; her siblings, Clarence Rushing, Paul Rushing, Catherine Brown, Marjorie Tracy, Ruth Long, Betty Rushing, and Frances Wofter.
Friends and family may call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE with Pastor Roger Decker and Rev. Dale Darr officiating. She will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Cemetery, Roseville.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice, 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville OH 43701.
The family requests that self-provided face masks be worn and social distancing be observed during the calling hours and funeral service.
