Matthew Ackerman Obituary
ZANESVILLE: Matthew J. Ackerman, 36, of Zanesville, passed away Monday, November 30th, at Genesis Healthcare Systems, Zanesville.
Son of William and Dorothy (Schreckengaust) Ackerman; brother of Nathan Ackerman; fiancé of Kathleen Ann Ross.
Services will be held on Wednesday, December 9th at 6:15pm in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Pastor Foster. Friends may call 5pm until time of services. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Haven of Rest in memory of Matthew.

you have my condolences for Matt Ackerman. We became friends when I worked at Hunter House. After I left HH we remained friends. It was difficult keeping in touch with him when he moved south. matt, i met you here in zanesville my brother.We fellowshipped daily for months. i miss you so much. we are brothers in faith...closer than blood. you reached out to many, when i see u hopefully i can bring at least one to repentance so we can all fellowship along with CHRIST. Love u big broseph

To Matt in heaven, you helped my grandson a lot and though I never talked or met you I am so grateful for what you did for him. He deserves a better life and you at least made that happier for him. May all you family and friends heal from your loss.
