Pauline Pletcher Obituary
ZANESVILLE: Pauline Georgianna Pletcher went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2012 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House.
She was born October 24, 1916 in Roseville, Ohio daughter of the late Glenna and Arthur Lane Sr. Pauline was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church.
She was employed by Nelson McCoy Pottery and Essex Wire on the Hill. She enjoyed traveling on vacations with her family and all family outings No matter where!!
A cherished mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by two daughters Dormah (Bob) Mills of Blue Rock, Pat (Tom) Paul of Zanesville, two sons Jack (Tammy) Pletcher and Bill (Joan) Pletcher both of Zanesville, fourteen grandchildren Luticia (Matt) Minter of Waverly, Cindy (Jon) Sheppard, Annette (Randy) Brown, Kim Paul, Jeff (Jane) Paul, Jayson and Bryan Pletcher all of Zanesville, Butch (Sheila) Mills and Howard (Susan) Mills both of Blue Rock, Gina (Matt) Ginikos of Weserville, Lisa (Mark) Walden of Cincinnati, Adam Pletcher of Martinsburg, WV, step-grandchildren Mandy Stevens, and Sandy Kuehner. She will be sadly missed by her twenty five great-grandchildren Logan (fiancée Sarah Colvin) Minter, Mariah (Zak) Ginn, Nelson and Polly Minter, Megan and Bradley Sheppard, Ashley Brown, Jennifer (fiancé Kyle Davis) Paul, Janessa Paul, Mikayla and Ethan Pletcher, Aaron, Austin, Sam, Paige and Daniel Mills, Michael and Amanda Ginikos, Christopher and Nicolas Walden, Justin and Brooke Pletcher, step great-grandchildren Bailey Kuehner, Diamond, Dynesty, and Alexi Stevens. Also special card playing friend and caregiver Stacey Brown.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Everett C. Pletcher, who passed away September 8, 1995, who she married September 20, 1934, also a brother Arthur Lane Jr. of Roseville, a brother Reverend James (Ruth) Lane of Des Moines, WA, sister Martha (Clyde) Dickson of Malta, a son-in-law Robert Mills Sr. of Blue Rock.
Calling hours will be held at the DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home Monday April 24, 2012 from 6 pm to 8 pm and 1 pm to 2 pm Tuesday where services will begin at 2 pm with Linda Morrow officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice-Morrison House, 713 Forest Ave. Zanesville, OH 43701.
