Ray J. Coss

Zanesville - Ray Junior Coss, 96, of Zanesville, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Ray was born March 31, 1922 to the late William Ray and Susan (Mobberly) Coss. In addition to his parents, Ray is also preceded in death by two children, Diana Lynn Coss Hall and Duane Ray Coss; and all 5 of his siblings.

Ray leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Rosalie (Anderson) Coss; daughter, Deborah (Mike) Coss Pace; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; Norval Park and Woodlawn Church of Christ church families; and a host of other friends and family.

Ray was a faithful member of the Church of Christ, and most recently attended the Norval Park congregation. Ray was a World War II purple heart recipient. He will be missed by many. You may call on the family Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services, 414 LaSalle St. Funeral service will be held Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11 a.m., at Norval Park Church of Christ, 845 Arch St. Minister Keith Kress officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
