Samuel Maxwell Obituary
Columbus : Samuel Allen Maxwell, 35, of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, September, 24, 2017 in Columbus as a result of an automobile accident.
Samuel was born, March 7, 1982 in Zanesville, the son of Harry Michael and Joanne Maxwell of Crooksville and Anne (Gorman) and Dale Wilson of Columbus.
He was a self-employed Uber driver in the Columbus area.
In addition to his parents and his step-parents, Samuel is survived by his domestic partner of nine and a half years, Mike Wright; his brothers, Patrick (Paola) Maxwell of Beaverton, Oregon, Gary (Natalie) Maxwell of Wilmington and Andrew Maxwell of Crooksville; his step-sister, Kelly (Michael) Tolliver of Thornville; his nieces, Abby Tolliver and Katie Tolliver; his aunt, Anne Maxwell and his many beloved pets.
Samuel is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Owen and Barbara Gorman and his paternal grandparents, Harry and Martha Maxwell.
Family and friends will be received 4:00 PM-8:00 PM, Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Samuel's life will be 11:00 AM, Friday, September 29 at the funeral home with Rev. Orrey McFarland officiating. Burial will follow in Crooksville Cemetery.

Just now seen this and can't believe it it I went to school with Sam and Patrick when they lived in crooksville Ohio I lived right up the road from them on I believe it was called Burley street he was a good person rest in peace friend I know you'll be missed by many people

Sam your light in this world will be dearly missed my friend. So sorry I let us drift apart. My condolences to your family. Cannot imagine what they are going through. Have very fond memories of our younger years. Thank you for always being there back when we were just lost kids in this crazy world. Will never forget our time together.

Wow so sorry to hear you've passed Sam. Remember when you and Mike first became a couple and came to family gatherings or held them. The holidays just won't be the same without you.
