Susan West Obituary
ZANESVILLE: Dr. Susan Carol West, 79, of Zanesville passed away December 27, 2016. She was born March 11, 1937 in Superior, WI to the late Floyd Leon and Winifred Carol Whittington.
Susan was a therapist and a clinical psychologist for 30 years most recently in private practice in Zanesville. She obtained her Ph. D. from Univ. of Southern California. She enjoyed playing piano, sewing, reading and collecting antiques. She was a loving grandmother. She was a great listener and had a talent for aiding others with her great sense of humor and was incredibly kind.
Susan was survived by Carolyn (Melody Heilmann) West of Modesto, CA; Andrew (Laura Bailey) West of Zanesville; grandchildren, Cosette, Aidan, Journey, Emmy; brother, Thomas Whittington of Carefree, AZ; aunt, Barbara Parker of Romeo, MI and numerous cousins, family and friends.
Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. with funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. on Sat., Dec. 31, 2016 at the funeral home, 414 LaSalle St. With Pastor Keith Wyatt. Cremation has been chosen. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to NAMI.org. Condolences may be expressed at burrellfuneralservices.com. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
