Theodore Welch Obituary
ROSEVILLE: Theodore Cleo "Ted" Welch Sr., 78, of Roseville, formerly of Frazeysburg, passed away at 2:23 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born on September 17, 1934, in Perry County, Ohio, a son of the late Hughie and Rosa Rodgers Welch. He had worked for Ohio Ferro Alloy. He was a member of the Tatmans Gap Church, Roseville American Legion Post #71, and Crooksville Fraternal of Eagles Lodge #1979. He protected our freedom and served our country by serving in the United States Navy during the Korea War.
Surviving are a son, Theodore C. Welch Jr.; three daughters, Pamela Spangler, Barbara, and Brenda; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Roy Lee Welch; and a sister, Judy Williamson of Crooksville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Smith Welch; and a brother, Lloyd Leo Welch Sr.
Friends and family may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 207 BURLEY STREET, CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor Mary Perani officiating. Ted will be laid to rest in Zion Cemetery, Portersville, Ohio.
