Tina Madigan Obituary

NASHPORT: Tina Marie McElfresh Madigan, 49, of Nashport, died at home at 9:51 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2009, following a four year battle with lymphoma.
She was born June 20, 1960 in Zanesville, to the late William S. & Doris Sagle McElfresh. She lived in the Zanesville area all her life, was a business owner of Creno's Pizza in Mt. Vernon, former employee of Genesis Health Care (25 years), and Dr. Larry Towning (10 years). She was a member of Zanesville American Legion Auxiliary, belonged to card club for several years, and enjoyed time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Scott R. Madigan of the home; one daughter, Tennille (Jon) Wilkins of South Zanesville; one son, Charles Swope III & fiancee Moniqua Love of Zanesville; four grandchildren, Summer Marie Morris, Savana Rayann Wilkins, Slade Allan Wilkins, and Dylan Charles Swope; two sisters, Tammy (Jim) Baughman of New Lexington, and Lora Ferrell of Alabama; one brother, John Leroy McElfresh of Zanesville; two nephews, Corey (Lisa) Baughman of Zanesville, and John Thomas McElfresh; and a special friend, Jean Dunn.
She was preceded in death by parents; and a brother, William "Billy" McElfresh.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 16 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 5765 Gladstone Dr., White Cottage, OH. A caring cremation will follow.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care, 713 Forest Ave, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
