Manuel Felix Obituary
a veteran of WWII. He retired from Chrysler Corp. after 30 years of employment. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union. He is survived by his loving wife Dolores of Prescott, AZ. two sons Anthony of Phoenix, AZ and Gary of Moor Park, CA. Also two sisters; Esther Chambard of Raleigh, NC. And Ruth Durhams of Mission Hills, CA. nine loving grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation were held Thursday January 6, 2005 from 5pm until 8pm with rosary at 7pm. Both at Heritage Memory Mortuary 131 Grove Ave. Prescott, AZ. A Mass will be held today Friday January 7, 2005 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 150 Fluery Ave. Prescott, AZ. Graveside services will follow at 1:30pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, AZ. Services entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary Prescott, AZ.

Grandpa~ It's been awhile since I have written to you. Jasmyn just celebrated her 7th birthday. Can you believe it? She gets more beautiful each day. Swear I see you in her still. I am living with my partner, Brenda in Tucson now and feeling very happy and content. I found my home. Recently, there has been a lot of death surrounding us and it's reminded me of your absence and mine in writing you. I hope you are there watching over Jasmyn, as I believe you are. Please continue to protect her from all the pain in the world and help guide her to continue being so caring and non judgmental throughout her life. I love you so very much. Hello Dad
Sorry, it's been sometime. Yesterday was Thanksgiving we spent the day with Mom at your home. Gary, Jessica, Melissa, Christina, Anthony of course your great Grandaughter Jasmyn, and myself it was a very nice day. Melissa, made her first Turkey it turned out great. Everyone helped and joined in. Diane, had to work that was different for us. In my Heart we were all together. We thought of you a great deal. Shared some fun stories.

Today April 21st marks the Day you came in this world. It's been awhile since I wrote you last. Your mentioned often with very fond memories. Dear Manuel, How we all miss you. We didn’t see each other much during the last 10 or 15 years,l but our phone calls made my day brighter. You had a knack for making us laugh.
I remember after you came back from serving your country; you asked me to go shopping and wanted my help selecting civilian clothes. We had so much fun. I also think about going to Indio to the Date Festival with Mom, Frank, Joe, Ruth, you and I. We were singing “Oh it ain’t go’na rain no mor, no mor, it ain’t go’na rain no mor.” Then, “crash” (Joe was driving). We landed up-side-down. It was a quiet highway in those days. We were all very young and nobody was hurt. Our kids laugh at this story because it was funny afterward. We didn’t have a car until Mom married Frank and Mom and Frank decided to go to Indio in the middle of the night. Remember, We would we would stop under a tree and eat bologna sandwiches and drink Par-T-Pak root beer for lunch. We would stop at a gas station to brush our teeth and wash up.
