It's 2026 and his artwork was one of the biggest influences on my creative work. I'm going to do my best to share his work with the world.

I still remember his unique artwork from 20 years ago. He was probably the greatest single influence on artists at Dr. Legume's ab3p group. He was the "eminence gris" for so many of us.

I always loved the outrageous humor that Don brought to his art. In my eyes, he was a master story teller of the highest calibur. I had the privilege last year to work with Don on a Bryce project, the Creepy the Clown/Doomsday Danny meeting images. So, he has forever changed and marked my life and my art and stories for the better. With love and respect, God's speed to Heaven my friend.

We discussed psychology and 3D art wirh equal interest. I considered Don a long distance friend who normally had an answer to my questions in either field. He will be sorely missed in the online 3D graphics community.

I was numbed when Christine broke the news to me. I always anticipated what his next creation was going to hold or shock people with, or what new twist he would put on something. Take care up there, buddy.

I have commented on Don's work for many years and he has always been very nice to me.... I read a lot of his comments... Enjoyed his work and words...

I will truly miss his being around, his images, his words and his

friendship...

We will never know how many renders he would've been able to make with that bridge... I thought it depended on his inspiration... and never expected it depended on the length of his life... My blessings for his family and friends...

Good-bye my friend, it was a pleasure to have met you through the internet we all shared together. You touched the world in a very special way & touched my heart so dearly you won't be forgotten in my mind or in my future art. Thank you for creating our friend, Creepy Clown, he has taught us that have been along for the ride, since his 1st release & he will continue to teach many future 3D artists in your absence.

Thank you to his family for sharing so much of him in the past few years with us, his online family. I feel your loss & sadness as the tears stream down my face as I write this.

Don was a great guy, very creative, with a awesome (yet very twisted at times) sense of humor. He brought us many great things, and as long as we remember them, Don will live on.

Robert Brown (Teepist)

June 24, 2004

You brought us Creepy the Clown and you made us smile. (Every DAY!) When you set up the Cafe Press site to bring Creepy T-shirts & mugs to the masses, you couldn't have known that us Ex-Pats living abroad couldn't buy the stuff. I'll never forget how you went out of your way to make sure I got my mug & T-shirt. (by buying them and mailing them to me!)

I raise my mug & drink a toast to you Don. The saddest part is I won't be spitting coffee on my keyboard today. The way you always made me do with your humor, your charm and your warmth.

The 3D community has lost someone who will be remembered by us all.

Don was always willing to offer help and advice to newcomers, and his generosity is more than evident in the number of models he made

available to one and all. His wit and humour will be with us, as will

his wonderful art work for a long time.

Farewell Don, 'till we meet again.

Don's work was characterized by three things I always appreciated: Creative Vision, Precision, and Irony. He saw the world uniquely, he mastered the tools to bring his special vision to life, and he never forgot how ultimately funny most of life really is. He will be missed.

June 24, 2004

Don was a very smart man who always had encouraging words for other artists on the Poser and Bryce newsgroups. He was, of course, the creator of Creepy Clown and he generously shared the model with all members of the Poser and Bryce community. His artwork always had just the right blend of illustrative qualities and realism and his style would be very hard to duplicate. He's sadly missed by everybody on the Bryce and Poser newsgroups as well as places like Renderosity and 3d Commune. My thoughts and best wishes to Dons family.

Don had a unique way of expressing things through his digital art. Having only met him online a time or 2, I often wondered how he produced so much wonderful art. The graphics world will miss him deeply. It seems Don had quite a fan club in his online graphics life.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family.

to Don, his family, friends and peers.... I knew you through Bryce, Creepy Clown and general 3d art... I'm with Pandromeda and we're currently hosting the Creepy Clown website -- I'll see to it that Creepy in his various incarnations (.br4 and .pz models) get included in the upcoming MojoWorld CDs -- your art has always been something I've cherished in the 3d community and I'll see to it that Creepy will continue in MojoWorld.... now that I know this is really real and not the hoax I prayed it was, I'm shedding some serious tears... Don, I hope to see you on the other side - thank you for all your contributions to the Bryce community and thanks for the character of Creepy Clown -- truly an archetype that will live on, long after all of us have joined you over on the other side... prayers to you and yours and to all who read this... best wishes, see you when I get there --- -calyxa

Through Don's work and words, we viewed a side of life that made us think and wonder. His ability to say so much with so little is something that few are able to accomplish. His images were the highlight of each day and I looked forward to each and every one of them. You will be missed my friend. Farewell.

I have just heard this shocking and tragic news. Yet of all people, I am sure Don would face this with humor and a search for any irony. He was a very special man, who made a difference in many lives just through his words, his images, and his laugh. He has left behind a legacy of unique qualities. He will be greatly missed.

Some people are suppose to live forever. I remember him as a prolific and creative artist. And more importantly a kind & generous person. Willing to share any information about making graphics and how to use a computer graphics program. Don was always the voice of reason in an argument. This is a huge loss to the world graphics internet community. Althought we never met personally this is a great personal loss.
