Garrett was my best friend in high school and the most passionate person I've ever known. No one could make me laugh-until-I-cried like he did! I knew we'd always be friends forever regardless of distance or time elapsed, but now the distance is too far and the time has escaped us both. I doubt he ever knew the profound impact and the meaning he had upon me and in my life. I wish I had told him--especially--more often. His artistic abilities was beyond anything I'd ever know; I'll forever remember the bird in the green foliage watercolor painting he did in our art class together. It was the most magnificent art piece produced in that class. He was an incredible spark that fizzled away too quickly. When he left CA, he took the sunshine with him. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to his friends and family. His passing is a great loss to us all.

Garrett made me laugh longer and harder than anyone. I was his sister-away-from-sister for more reasons than the obvious namesake. I am forever changed without him. I will love him always and miss him everyday.

Garrett, we will miss you more than you will ever know. We will never forget your dazzling personality and your shining laughter. I can still hear it when I think of you and I always will! You brightened up everyone around you with your magnetic and spectacular charm that people loved you for. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. You left us too soon and there is an empty spot in this world that will never be filled because there is NONE LIKE YOU. Garrett, we love you and you will forever be in our hearts!

I will always have fond memories of Garret, my sister and I playing all around Lombardy Court and wearing green shorts with pink alligators on them my mom made for all of the kids in the neighborhood. Although my memories are somewhat faded now, I still remember his smile and always laughing when we were together. He will truly be missed.

How could I ever forget when I first met Garrett. He was new to Westminster and the girls just couldn't stop whispering about the adorable new boy in school. 'Where was he from? Does any one know him? Do you think he has a social partner yet?' I spent a good bit of junior high with my name on the board because I couldn't pass up whispering his way or retrieving a note written in his most perfect penmanship. Garrett was personality and then some. He never did cease to make me laugh. When I think of my friendship with him, the laughter still rings in my ears, but when I think of his heart, I think of a man who was incredibly kind and thoughtful. He was such a precious person, a bright light to all those around him. He will be missed immeasurably. Please know that you and your family are in my constant thoughts and prayers.
