Marjorie Kline Obituary

Marjorie M. Kline Athens Marjorie M. Kline, 84, of Athens passed away on December 2, 2008 with her family at her side. She was born in Battle Creek, Michigan to William and Myrtie Erskine on July 6, 1924. She is survived by sons: Michael (Linda) O'Keefe of Battle Creek, Patrick (Debra) O'Keefe of East Leroy, Cheryl (Craig) Gay of Battle Creek; step-sons: Ron (Linda) Kline of Kalamazoo, Lew Kline of Battle Creek, Kris (Phylene) Kline of Holt, Randy (Lori) Kline of Sweetser, IN and Kyle (Jeanie) Kline of Battle Creek; sixteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Geri Swartz of Athens, and a brother, Bill (Charlene) Erskine of Battle Creek. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Kline and a son, Dennis O'Keefe. Marge had a joyous optimism for life and was quick to laugh. She loved spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing cards, reading and traveling. She spent many happy winters in Florida. Her cheerful attitude will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have shared moments of her life. A family memorial service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery where she will be entombed. Memorials may be made to Community Action Agency of South Central Michigan or the Parkinson's Foundation of Michigan. Arrangements by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
