Gavin Brooks Obituary

Gavin M. Brooks Gavin M. Brooks, infant son of Michael G. Brooks and Brandy M. Freeze died suddenly on Wednesday morning, February 4, 2009. Gavin was born in Battle Creek on January 5, 2009 and is survived by his parents; 3 brothers, James Brooks, James Allen Freeze, Jason Jamar Freeze Jr.; and a sister, Alexys Brooks. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Shirley Brooks; his maternal grandparents, Laura and James Cash; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. At the request of the family, they will receive friends 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 8, 2009 at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 9, 2009 at the funeral home with Pastor Cheryl Jones of the Rhema Word Outreach Center, officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Angel Cheeks Foundation c/o The Battle Creek Community Foundation would be appreciated.
