Dear Janet, Ralph, Becky and Barbara,
How well I recall the days of growing up in church and seeing your family sitting together in a pew. More amazing to me was how you all fit into your Volkswagen bug and drove that long distance to church from Dowling every Sunday morning and night. What faithfulness your parents modeled before you. I'm sure that your mother will be missed, but she makes Heaven even sweeter.

As my parents, Vaughn and Elsie Drummonds, and I were speaking about Mrs. Yoder (that was how I knew her as a boy) the constant theme was her extreme loyalty to the Lord, her family, her church and her friends. She had a quiet strength that demanded all to listen when she shared her thoughts. She was one of an incredible generation of Godly leadership at First Wesleyan Church in Battle Creek we will never see again.
