For such a time as this, when we have lost a husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, we need a God who is in control of all things, a Savior who has died in our place to forgive our sins, and a Holy Spirit who will come along side us to comfort, guide and encourage. God has made provision for all these things and will continue to always be with us and to never leave us. It is our fervent prayer for the entire family of our wonderful Christian friend, Dix, that our God will sustain you during this time of grief, yet may you celebrate a life well lived by Dix who put God first followed by family and friends. We admired and respected his Godly attitude and leadership in serving our God! May God bless the work and influence Dix did in this world and may Dix find pleasure in His presence as he gives Him Glory in heaven.

I really enjoyed my years of serving Dix and his family his Sunday dinners at Shrank's. He was always kind to me and I'm sure he will be missed by many. My thoughts are with the entire family. Rita (from Shrank's) now in Costa Rica.

Dix was someone Carlton and I admired and respected Dix so much. To us he was a wonderful example of how Christains are able to more than survive but with the help of God to "thrive" through enormous "troubles". Thank you God for Dix VanDaff and his family.
