Maxine and Family,
I am deeply saddened to hear of John's passing. My memories as the B Battery clerk for 6 years, the Grayling summer camps, the trip to England with my dad and John, and too many other happier times to mention. John's kindness to me and our family will never be forgotten.

Maxine and family,
Dennis and I just want to say how sorry we are about John's death. You were excellent neighbors when we lived on Sheridan Court. We enjoyed your hospitality and friendliness. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

As an occasional visitor at the Friday afternoon get-together at Cascarelli's, it was always a pleasure to see and chat with the guys and especially with John. As his Battery Clerk in the Albion Guard outfit for eight years, I got to know him pretty well. I, for one, will miss his friendship, his humor and the remembrances we shared. Our sympathy to Maxine and the entire family. John was certainly "one of a kind". Rest in Peace.
