Raymond Owsley Obituary

Raymond Owsley Albion Raymond Owsley, 88 , passed away November 4, 2009 at his residence. He was born October 12, 1921 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Joseph and Molly (Jones) Owsley. On November 16, 1944 he married Emma Robinson. She preceded him in death on November 25, 1996. Raymond worked as a press operator for Harvard Industries in Albion for 32 years, retiring in 1976. He enjoyed gardening, out of doors and fixing lawn mowers. He truly enjoyed visiting with his family and his friends. Survivors include: 2 daughters, Diana and Kendrick Martin of Albion and JoAnne and Duane Seymour of East Leroy, 1 son, Rick Owsley of Mobile, AL, 1 brother, Richard Ousley of Prestenburg, KY, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Emma and several brothers and sisters. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2009, at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, with Rev. Earl Martin and Rev. Ellis Howard officiating. Interment will be at Clarence Center Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 8, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Oaklawn. www.kevintiddfuneralhome.com

Dear Diana, JoAnne and Rick,

I am very sorry for your loss. My best memories of Uncle Raymond are coming home from Church and finding Uncle Raymond there visiting with Dad. I know Dad always enjoyed the visits espeiclally when he got sick. You are all in my prayers.
