Eileen Parris Obituary

Eileen M. Parris Battle Creek Eileen M. Parris, 84, died November 12, 2009. Eileen was born January 10, 1925 to Raymond and Wilva (Culbert) Overacker in Battle Creek. Eileen was an avid seamstress and designer. She was the co-owner, along with her husband Ray, of La Paris Boutique and Tea Room and also Ray Parris Trucking. Eileen loved traveling, but most of all, spending time with her family. Eileen is survived by her husband, Ray; three daughters, Patty (Charlie) Wilkey, Penny Parris, and Jane Bush; four grandchildren, Michael Bush, Sara Grasseschi, Chaz Wilkey, and Courtney Hammer; five great-grandchildren, Benjamin Bush, Elizabeth Bush, Carlie Grasseschi, Connor Grasseschi, and Alyssa Hammer. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service to celebrate Eileen's life will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in honor of Eileen are asked to consider the Alzheimer's Association. Personal messages for the family may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.

Dear Ray
Our hearts go out to you and the family. We were so sad to hear of Eileens death. I know how very difficult this time is for you and the family. Eileen was the best.. and everything in her life revolved around her family. I was so fortunate to have been friends with Patty and able to share her with you all these years.
