I remember when Auntie moved to Michigan next to my grandmother and her sister, Harriet. When I would visit grandma's, I always had to go down the hill to her house to see her and her bird Charlie. Every time I would go down she would have a puzzle out that she was working on. I would always take a couple of minutes to help her put a couple of pieces together. This year, I was so excited to go with her to the Calhoun County Fair with the nursing home she was in. We walked through all the animals, and I remember she was petting the goats. It was so cool to see Auntie with a big smile on her face. Auntie Ellie was so lovable and sweet. She will be missed here in Michigan terribly. Love Auntie Ellie's great-niece

I have fond memories of Eleanor when our families would gather in Stockton at Gertrude and Elmer's home behind the Hoosier Inn. Eleanor had a wonderful smile and outlook as I recall. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Pam Cipperly Garcia

I remember Eleanor as a 'taster' for Gallo wines. We were much younger than she and terribly more gullible. She told us detailed stories of her 'job' - what fun! We loved our older, wiser, cousins and have fond memories of games at our get-togethers. We didn't get to see much of each other in the past several years, but the love is there. Cousin Karen

Although I did not know Eleanor, her brother Lester was one of my greatest mentors during my career in the fire service. My thoughts and prayers go out to Les and his family. Al Anton
