Patsy Wall Obituary

Patsy Jane Wall Battle Creek Patsy Jane Wall, age 85, of Battle Creek, died December 30, 2009. Mrs. Wall was born on May 18, 1924 in Battle Creek the third child of Charles and Pearl E. Huber of East Leroy, MI. She attended the East Leroy Schools and graduated from Lakeview High School in June 1941. She was employed at the Grand Trunk Railroad for 31 years, retiring in December 1983. Patsy was a lifetime member of the VFW Post Aux. # 565, a Battle Creek Health Center auxiliary member, and a member of the Marshall Moose Lodge #202. See bowled for many years in the Sunset League at Spring Lake Lanes, and had been in the golf leagues at Binder Park and Oak Hill Golf Course. Patsy also loved to travel and was able to travel the world. Surviving are her daughters: Janice Austin of Battle Creek and Susan Maggard of Vine Brandenburg, KY; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Wall in December 2000; 2 brothers: Theodore V. Huber of Concord, MI and Robley E. Huber of East Leroy. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Arrangements by the Royal Funeral Home, Battle Creek. Memorials may be directed to Hospice.
