Andrew Sullivan Obituary

Andrew Jackson Sullivan, Jr. Ft Myers, FL Andrew Jackson Sullivan, Jr., 84, died January 5, 2010. Born in Susanville, CA to Andrew J. Sullivan, Sr. and Teresa Connors on December 12, 1925, he grew up in Port Huron, MI and served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 until 1946. He attended Alma College and Officer Training School during WWII and later served on board the USS Sicily escort carrier. He married Donna Jane Beardsley and raised 4 children. He lived in Battle Creek, MI and Higgins Lake, MI. He later moved to Ft. Myers, FL upon retirement where he enjoyed playing golf and selling real estate. He was a member of the ELKS. He is survived by his children; Susan Saiter Kleinfield of New York City, Patrick Sullivan of Kalamazoo, MI and Mary Grochan of New Jersey. He has five grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife, Donna Sullivan and a son, Daniel Sullivan. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, February 12, at the Barden Funeral Home, 225 West Center St. in Ithaca, MI.
