Maureen, I think of you everyday. I like going in the book and reading everything everyone has to say to you it helps. I thought these feelings of saddness would slowly fade away but it hasn't. I tell Bella stories about you all the time. We look at your picture and talk about you. It is so important that she knows her auntie Maureen. Andy sometimes catches me talking with you, it makes me feel better. I like to remember the advice you would have given me when I am struggling. I want so badly to share with you that Bella is crawling and getting more teeth! You would love to see her now. I know you are watching over her and keeping her safe. I love and miss you so much.

Maureen you were my sister my friend, I miss you everyday and can not imagine the rest of my life without you. I alway thought you and I would spend our later years reading books and drinking tea. Maybe traveling with Joe and Bobby. The quote Ted liked "Don't think of me as gone only in the next room" keeps going through my mind but when I go into the next room you aren't there. I love you and miss you I will be there for your children. I know you are with Mom and Dad give them a kiss for me. Love Charlene

Maureen's Family: I know the loss that you have endured, and nothing can be said to heal your pain. Time, memories, laughter, tears, and companionship with one another are just a few of the things which will help you through this time of sarrow. Please know that Maureen has not only touched the lives of students, fellow teachers, co-workers, and the community, she has added her life to them, with this she continues to live. My heart goes to you, with prayers and remebrance.

Bobby and the kids, Charlene and Joe and the kids and Teddy:
Maureen leaves an empty space in the hearts of anyone who knew her. As kids, us cousins were very close. Nantasket Beach in the summer -- Teddy chasing us with sea weed. In the winter, we played "Concentration on Paper". Maureen always wanted to check Mal's answers because Maureen had fun reading Mal's mispelled answers. We would laugh and laugh. Great memories to look back on.

Maureen was usually the first face I saw every morning I walked into Clark Ave, and I looked forward to escaping from my work with her on a daily basis. I lost touch with Maureen, but I never thought it would be a permanent thing. I'll miss her, as I know so many people will. My heart goes out to her family... her light still shines in them.

Maureen started out as my mentor. She then became family. I don't know when our work realtionship turned into something more, but I am so thankful it did. Bob and Maureen took Andy and I in as family. We were truly loved by Maureen. Maureen became my daughter's "auntie" they had a special connection, when she saw Maureen her face always lit up. I miss her every day. My love and blessings go to Bobby, Robert, Danny and Jillian. We will love and support you all always.

Maureen was a true role model to me. As a new teacher at the Clark Avenue School in Chelsea, she was my anchor. She was an amazing teacher, a selfless friend, a loving mother and wife, and a true ray of sunshine and optimism day in and day out. I still have a picture framed of Maureen, Bob, my husband, and myself in Aruba, when we all ended up there together in the summer of 2001. You'll always be my role model, Maureen. Love, Alissa
