Legacy.com has graciously allowed the Central Class of ’63 to include the URL to Elaine’s memorial page http://www.pbase.com/centralwarriors/elaine_barton on our Central ‘63 web site. Pictures and remembrances of Elaine from her high school days and post graduation events will be memorialized in these pages for her classmates and loved ones to view.

My prayer is that the Lord will strengthen those who knew and loved Elaine in these sorrowful times.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I attended school with Elaine from the first grade at Peabody, to Fairview, Central and Memphis State. She sang at my wedding and was married the following day to John. I attended their wedding with my husband Jim. The four of us went to New Orleans. I will never forget her vibrant personality.
