James Sullivan Obituary
James J. Sullivan, 89, died Friday, September 4, 2009.
Born October 2, 1920, in Flint, Michigan, he was the son of the late John Michael Sullivan and Susan Rebert Sullivan.
He was also predeceased by his son, Gregory, who lost his life in an accident while serving in the military in 1995.
Jim was a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Master's Degree in business. He served as a Navy officer aboard the Battleship New Jersey in World War Two. He retired as Controller at the Port Authority of Allegheny County in Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret "Peggy"; and a daughter, Janet; grandchildren, Brendan and twins, Rebecca and Matthew.
Jim was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved gardening and sharing his knowledge with anyone who wanted it.

To Our Uncle Jim - You will be missed and always remembered as such a good uncle and a wonderful man. We loved you and even though there was always miles between all of us, we thought of you often and looked forward to visits.
