Marion Buckler

Marion Buckler, 80, of Louisa, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville.

She was born May 2, 1929, in Nanicoke, Pennsylvania, to George Jacoby and Ada Jacoby.

Marion was a member of St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church in Louisa where she participated in the Women's Guild.

Marion is survived by her husband of 62 years, Alfred E. Buckler; her daughters, Carol I. Kent and her husband, Alan, of Annapolis, Maryland, and Alice Morales and her husband, Guillermo, of Sterling, Virginia; her grandchildren, Janet Teske, Joan Erwin, Rachael Roman, Alfred Roman, Victoria Morales, and Christopher Morales; her great-grandchildren, Juliet Kent, Luke Teske, Madeline Teske, Sarah Teske, Joy Erwin, Jenia Erwin, and Alexandria Erwin.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ruth Rowe, Joan Hogan, Ruth Lowe,

Elsie Buckler, and Lloyd Hontz Jr.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. with a Rosary service beginning 7 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2009, at Woodward Funeral Home in Louisa.

A Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009, at St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church, 1937 Davis Hwy., Louisa, VA 23093. Father Michael Duffy will be officiating the funeral mass. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
